In 2007, Equalan Pharma, LLC obtained the GLYDERM product line from Valeant Pharmaceuticals. Since then, it has continued to promote the brand and increase its worldwide distribution. Equalan Pharma, LLC is the exclusive distributor of GLYDERM skincare. Our customers include dermatologists, plastic surgeons, estheticians, hospitals and universities worldwide. We are committed to continuing Glyderm’s legacy and exceeding our customer’s expectations in quality, service, and innovation.

History of Glyderm

Marvin E. Klein, MD, Founder/Inventor

Dr. Klein, and a board certified dermatologist, created and developed AFAs. As the recipient of the National American Dermatology Association Research Award and member of Galen’s Honorary Medical Society, Dr. Marvin E. Klein gained international recognition for his proprietary formulations, including an esterified glycolic acid (AHA) and a trichloroacetic acid (TCA) masque. Dr. Klein, an avid researcher with a passion for biochemistry, continued his research in search of a formula that provided significant anti-aging benefits while simultaneously eliminating the dryness and irritation commonly associated with other commercially available products. The company he created to showcase this technology, Glyderm, has since become one of the most successful glycolic acid lines on the market today.
